The story centers on Daphne and Ralph, young professors at a prestigious liberal arts college who are on the brink of academic superstardom after discovering Andromeda, a long-lost tragedy by Euripides. When Daphne accidentally misplaces the manuscript, she panics and cries out to the ancient Greek gods for help. To her surprise—and the immense complication of their Ivy League campus—Dionysus (the god of wine and partying) and Thalia (the muse of comedy) actually appear. The resulting two hours are a Mel-Brooks-style romp filled with mistaken identities, academic politics, and absurd, laugh-out-loud slapstick
